pvz neighborville stutter ps4 splitscreen

Question

I've been playing PvZ Battle for Neighborville since January 2020. It has been generally running well in splitscreen multiplayer in my Playstation 4. Within the last week, maybe longer, it's now April 12, 2020, I have been having lots of stuttering issues when in split screen. When not in split screen I haven't seen this problem. That said I generally play single player early in the morning (6 am EDT) or in the evening (8 pm EDT) where in split screen it's in the afternoon (2 pm EDT to 4 pm EDT).

By stuttering I mean that I try to run forward and my player jumps back to where I was a second before so I never progress forward. Sometimes it gets stuck in this loop for only a few seconds while others it can last for longer which only short gaps of actual progress.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but it didn't fix the issue.

Other games and the Playstation 4 do not seem to have this problem.

Is there anything else I can to on Playstation 4 that may help resolve this splitscreen issue or is this something going on outside of my control?

Can you try restoring the game licenses in your PS4 settings, and doing a hard reset on your Console?

Select&nbsp;Settings &gt; Account Management &gt; Restore Licenses, then fully turn off your Console for 30 seconds or so, and turn it back on.

Hi,I'm having the exact same happening.Although I don't use split screen, I find the stuttering in all areas. The same issue, trying to move forward but it jumps back and forth, this last from a few seconds to 10 or so seconds and this has been since I started in December.It happens in all areas Giddy Park, Arena area, playing Gnome bomb, it becomes very frustrating.I tried the restoring License and hard shut down you advised elCrumbo, but unfortunately it hasn't helped.I just wondered if you have any other suggestionsThanksacej03

In split screen I have been having serious issues with game play. Constant stuttering... I posted another thread about an issue which is when in split screen in Giddy Park the screen becomes very dark and the resolution looks like its downgraded. When I return to single player it’s back to normal brightness and resolution..&nbsp;
