Just wondering why the plants side suck!!! i notice after first few goes in a match i end up with only 1 card a time with no way of beating the zombies..... plus i have no water plants.... and...

Since you claim to be a newer player it would appear that the zombies are overpowering. As you collect more cards and play more, you will realize this game is pretty well balanced and each plant or hero has their own strengths and weaknesses. If you run out of cards quickly, perhaps you should change your decks and cards for more card drawing.
Play around with your deck and not all new players can win easily as plants or zombies.
