You need to compare the incomplete versions to the complete ones you used to begin the gnome king battles. Each incomplete code has two blanks. The final code is made up of those tiles that are blank in the incomplete versions.
Say one code had a flower pot in the top position and that that tile is blank in the incomplete version. So in your final code to summon the rainbow guardian, that tile will be a flower pot. If you didn't screenshot everything as you finished each trial, you might have to fly a drone through to the end of that trial so you can see them again.
