I’m looking through settings but I can’t find the option for it anywhere
You should be able to set up Personal Hotspot through your phone, and then link it to your iPad afterwards. Then, you could turn on Mobile Data on your phone. Try to load it up on your iPad then. Then, turn off your Mobile Data on your phone once you are done with that!
I just did that and nothing changed. this is annoying
In that case, you could try and set up a case with EA Help here, explaining your issue: https://help.ea.com/en/plants-vs-zombies/plants-vs-zombies-heroes/. Just pick the appropriate topic/s and place as much detail about your issue as you can manage! Follow the steps provided.
There are also 2 other things I can do to help you or that I suggest to you and others 🙂:
- I can actually raise this issue to an EA Community Manager and see if they have any update on this connection issue situation if you would like!
- I suggest to others that experience this issue to post it here on the forums and to give as much detail as they possibly can add to it, and perhaps the techniques they have used to try and fix it!
- @TheSprinter85 Please can you raise this with an ea manager as you suggested. I am inclined to think it’s the latest update on the App Store from 4 days ago that is the issue. It would be good to know if this is the case. Thank you
Please talk to somebody at EA. I've done everything and still nothing
This is happening to me, too, and I can't find anything to fix it. I've checked on Reddit, no answers are available anywhere. For the record, I'm on an Android, and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, and also connecting using both WiFi and cellular data. It just doesn't work at the moment. Could the most recent update data have caused this? It says the game updated two days ago and that's when this started.
With how many people have this problem and how it’s unable to be fixed, this is definitely a problem on their side. Needs to be fixed soon but ea prolly doesn’t care about this game anymore smh
