Re: About the (lack of) marketing: How could you afford the legend?

@benn1nat0r I've never seen that trailer before!  That's a such a cool trailer for PvZ!  To talk about the marketing though, I only found out about this game by mere coincidence. I stopped doing or looking at anything PvZ related after around 2018, and at some point wondered "I wonder what PvZ is up to?" and saw that BfN Founder's Edition was for sale.  So everything I saw about marketing was the gameplay trailer, other youtubers, and the BfN website.  Nothing else.

@DriftingPort57 Yeah stopped looking after walnut hills addition in gw2 then just randomly saw the trailer one morning on Youtube because it said it was connected to what I was watching (samurai jack=pvz apprently👀), the feastivus trailer was only on their account (tbh it didn't offer anything to really draw you in), and one for wizard then the game dried up faster then water in a desert.

YouTube content started strong but quickly fizzled out after founders and I never really saw anything about the game later.

If it wasnt for me already caring for the franchise in the first place I wouldn't give this game a second look and I think a lot of people did just that.

I really liked watching the trailers for the game, and I found that it provided good excitement of what was coming next. But there were only ever 2 trailers. That was the only advertising the game really ever saw, but apparently PopCap did not have a big budget to work with in the first place, which made it hard to advertise I suppose.
