Re: Another Kind of Direct X Error

@HooDooYouThink

Can you post your DXDiag too:

Reinstalling the GPU driver fresh is something I'd definitely try.

If you do any overclocking to your GPU, reduce those clocks to factory defaults.

I do not believe those two edits you made the prof file are causing or related to this error.

Make sure your dedicated GPU is forced on:

Try repairing from Origin on the game's icon.

  • Sorry I didn't reply, I was busy with life and other things.

    I could only post my DXDiag for now, hopefully I can do the other things soon.

    You may try updating the drivers to the beta version of Crimson here:

    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

    -APU

    -Mobile APU

    -A series 8000G

    -Win10 64

    Someone recently was concerned about using these "beta" drivers because of stability reasons.  I feel these drivers are pretty stable (I mean AMD drivers in my experience haven't been rock solid anyways).. but I use these Crimson drivers on my work PC and it's on 24/7 and I've never seen a crash with them.  They aren't all that fresh out of the oven either, they have some age on them at this point.

  • Thanks! You solved my problem, and I don't crash anymore.

    However, the crash still happens a bit after I alt tab out of the game. But if I don't I'm fine.

    I'll put this discussion as solved. If you want to help me out more, go ahead. The crash is the same message.
