Re: Bean Bomb Fix

Here's the problem: all the things you listed can be all avoided if you know simple logic.

  • You can dodge the imp punt by not fighting the all-star head-on. By the way, why would you fight the all-star head-on in the first place? I said this like a million times already do you want to get imp punt/sprint tackled/vanquished very fast?
  • Zpg is only effective if your just standing still
  • The ball is basically the mine I just went over and besides, it doesn't kill you 50% of the time since the damage is low which is understandable since you don't want an overpowered mine that can stick on ceilings that you can't see unless you plan to check every ceiling behind a door and not pay attention to whats in front of you.
  • Potted plants are extremely avoidable if you just know the spots where they're at which is most of the time right next to the garden.

I'll also say that sure you can dodge a bean bomb just by staying mobile, but there will be occasions where you walk around a corner and there is a bean bomb in the way that has the ability to blow you up since it's been rigged to blow up by the second you arrived because it's been there for quite some time now.

"Simple logic"?  Thanks.  I'll keep that in mind.

"By the way, why would you fight the all-star head-on in the first place? I said this like a million times already do you want to get imp punt/sprint tackled/vanquished very fast?"

I'm not sure whom that was directed at.  Me?  Well, I'm glad you know exactly how I play.  Thanks.  I'll keep that in mind.

Well, we can't have anyone walking around the corner and getting killed.  That would be so unfair.  But it looks like you win.  The new update makes the chili bombs louder--though, if they've been sitting there "for quite some time", I'm not sure how that will make much of a difference if you're rushing around the corner.  But good luck.

  • Well obviously, it was directed at you since your the only one at the moment that's replying.

Making the bean bombs won't make it better since the problem doesn't involve around the noise level; it involves the audio standing out from the rest of the noise. Often times, silent bean bombs occurs mostly with sombrero bean bombs and uncommonly chili bean bombs. The only way I see fixing this is to make the audio for the bean bombs stand out over the other audio sounds without potentially muting other sounds. There are better ideas that can possibly fix the audio better, but I can't think of any and that's why my main question for this post is: What potential ways are there to fix the audio of the bean bombs?

By the way, it may not help you when your rushing around the corner, but it could help others though. A fix probably won't even affect most players gameplay with the bean bomb (The affect depends on what the fix will be given my way is an example of a kind of fix that won't affect most players).
