Cactus Alacrity upgrade

Guys tell me what this is? Alacrity upgrade, i have not maxed cactus yet, but what did they eff up that i will not be getting?!?
I'm curious as well. I got it after the nerf so no idea how good it used to be.
If you scope an enemy just after flight with a full clip, you could shoot 8 consecutive fully charged shots.
This was the buggiest upgrade of all and only worked half the time. My Cactus still struggles to bring up her scope half the time but now I only have 2-3 fully charged shots. By the time I find an enemy in my scope, I’ve completely missed the window to fire more than one fully charged shot.
Here’s the real knee slapper - I CAN CHARGE AND FIRE THREE SHOTS BEFORE I CAN FLY AND USE THE UPGRADED THREE FULLY CHARGED SHOTS!!! Why would I want to expose myself (by flying), if there’s no reward for the risk???!
Talk about rendering a character useless... this upgrade didn’t need ANY nerfing... damage, perhaps... total shots... heck no.
Agreed it was nerfed heavily. I need my Soldier one of these days to get better.. soldier damage has been ignored since GW1 days lol. Time to help out the OG!
@Iron_Guard8 @YayHorseys to add to splash’s comment about consecutive shots. You had much more time to fire the shots off. The most I can get now is two shots and that’s without aiming. And 33% of the time the second shot is only half charged.
I remember seeing one post post on Reddit where a very few people complained about it being op. And they didn’t have the upgrade yet, they just went up against a skilled player using it. As we all here have said multiple times, a skilled player can be good with anybody. Hell I’ve seen a couple sunflowers that made me put some work in to get the job done. And I sent them a message telling them how surprised I was.
