Re: Cannot import GW1 characters

As pandareno1999 stated, February 28th was a hard deadline due to some undisclosed technical reason; PopCap had been optimistic that they'd be able to extend the deadline but ultimately it couldn't be done so anyone joining the game from this point onward will need to grind out all of the characters the hard way.

Luckily all of the characters from Garden Warfare are present in Garden Warfare 2 so the only character that you're truly going to miss out on will be the Unicorn Chomper which could only be unlocked through the Loyalty Reward program which checked your GW1 Player Rank which has now ended.

    With regards to the Unicorn Chomper and max rank (5455)...he cannot be obtained as of 2/28.  Does that mean that the players who've attained max rank will be the only players to achieve max rank within the game moving forward (as well as the players who haven't achieved max rank but have the opportunity to do so if they have the Unicorn Chomper)?

    About once a month the Mystery Portal within Town Hall features a "Super Mix" event where various game rules are in place; on those occasions where character choices are limited to one class the game typically allows you to play as characters you don't have unlocked and times where character selection is rabdomized the game has shown that the Unicorn Chomper is in that mix so there will be opportunities to level him up at least a little bit.

    Whether this means that maximum Player Rank is now unattainable for those without the Unicorn Chomper I can't say for certain but I think that is likely the case.

    This is a fair solution in your opinion?!
    I tried just now to import character from GW1... They didn't communicate to all who want buy that game, this feature unavailable!!!

    VERY DISAPPOINTED... MAN!
