I'm assuming it's a Celeron E3400? Doesn't matter.
A 3450 is a tad slower than an HD3000. Ouch ;(

I'm thinking the frame rate is sooo low it just isn't accepting your clicks until well after the fact maybe?
Turn everything to lowest possible. Put your resolution to like 1024x768.

Left Ctl + R shows your FPS on screen.
They never made a 2GB 3450... they made 256MB versions and 512MB I think... that's some weird system specs all around holy cow.
