@EsperEyes Hmm, can you try a restart with a Clean Boot too? I take it that left click works ok in the in-game menus?

If you toggle between fullscreen and Windowed does that have any effect (the shortcut to do this is Alt & Enter).
Thanks. - Anonymous10 years agoNot applicable
Neither of those helped.
Some odd things to note though: a shot automatically fires when the round begins, if I try to change keybindings of fire it fires a shot when changing the binding.
It also auto-fires a shot when exiting out of options in general.
I tried switching right and left click for fire and aim , aiming and any other action other than fire will work on left click. Fire will not work on any binding.

@EsperEyes Thank you, that's interesting.
I have seen some rare issues where a game might interpret a keyboard as a gamepad, leading to all sorts of oddness. Can you unbind the rightmost value for Fire, which should default to gamepad trigger 2? In fact I'd go an unbind all the gamepad controls listed.Hopefully this will help, but if the issue still persists we're going to try reset the settings files. These can persist through a reinstall so could be the source of the issue.
Navigate to My Documents\PVZ Garden Warfare and make a backup of the Settings folder. Once this is done (and making sure the game is closed) delete the original copy and launch the game again. And this point I hope the issue will have ceased.

That worked, thank you!

Splendid, thanks for coming back.
Just to be sure, which part worked, the unbinding keys or wiping the settings file? It's good to be sure of these things in case it pops up again for other users.

Deleting the settings worked.

I also ran into this problem, left mouse click not shooting (on Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo). Turned out to be the Logitech (Extreme 3D) Joystick. It was plugged in with the profiler software running in the system tray (although I have no profiles configured). Closing the profiler wasn't enough, only after unplugging the joystick from the usb port, the mouse worked properly in PvZ GW I
It might work with the joystick plugged in and a proper profile configured, but I'm not looking into that. Unplugging the joystick is faster :-)
