@S73-G Hey, can you post a link to your dxdiag, as above. Perhaps we'll be able to find a hint as to why it's not running on your machine. 

If you could list the steps you've tried that should help, too. 

So far ive tried uninstalling origin and pvz 2 then reinstalling them both. Ive tried running as admin. My graphics card is always update and i even tried reverting to a previous update but to no avail. It always seems to crash around the same area, somewhere between the gates on the cutscene and when it hands over control to the player. i got to move forward 2 steps once and thats as far as ive got.
