Re: Challenge throwdown for upcoming Sassquash

I've tried getting on top before, but it hasn't worked for me. Even tried it in Low Grav, but it goes all the way around.

If there was a way to bypass it, it might be getting vanquished while in mid-air and having your body be pushed back into that area.

Kind of like how some players manage to glitch into a random house in the Yeti King fight when they are revived.

Asukojo, even on Normal, I think you're underestimating how hard it's going to be for a rose run.

Roses generally do less damage to them anyway, but a Nec'Rose will doing so little to damaging a burger unless they get close.

Rose on burger, hmm, it will be challenging, might need both roses attacking the same burger and there're far burgers. Well, let see if there's a way to get closers but stay safe:

1. Use arcane first to travel in the danger zone while others protecting using homing from far away.

2. goop/ice shroom.

This challenge definitely will test how good we're with Rose.

Can I join?

We should make a checklist of teams to try when he comes. All Cactus and Rose of course, but maybe add citrons and other teams of plants? I was happy with the results for the Yeti so, I plan to issue a challenge for Sasquatch as well. So between the two of us we can have the help challenge and skill challenge. More Sasquatch squashed the better!

I just have time to make a couple quick points here.

I don't think I'm interested in fighting either zombie boss with all roses.  I'd be stunned if it could be done.  Anyway, I don't see any point to using arcane enigma since the buff to lotus.  The damage from enigma is negligible and would really be of no help.

As for cactus, mobility becomes a major issue due to the many locations for the burgers which can only be reached by going halfway across the map.  And there is still the same issue we faced against the yeti king, namely that there just was not significant enough DPS to vanquish the boss before the timer runs out.  The blitzers and breakfast brainz will be a major problem without a healer.

I'm not trying to be a downer, these are just the first thoughts that come to my mind when pondering this.

so we don't need to go down to a dangerous zone, just stay as a pair on top section (one pair watching on the left side and another pair watching on the right side).

We can try normal with:

1. All DPS character (pick your favorite) but no sunflower, as warm up.

2. All cactus (should be doable)

3. All Rose (real challenge that will push everybody to limit).

I've gone rounds in Turf Takeover where I don't use a single ability as Captain Deadbeard besides scoping.

As far as boss hunts go, I don't think it'd be an entertaining challenge because players might resort to characters with obvious benefits to this challenge (Stuffy Flower, Vampire Flower, Electro Pea, Party characters, Legendaries, etc.).

But... if that doesn't happen, then it'll be a hard-earned experience watching as four confident (*cough* crazy *cough*) plants/zombies try to watch each other's back. Three sniper characters to get farther enemies and a shotgun character to get the ones that manage pass close by sounds like it'd get the job done for a no ability run.

I can't play boss hunt tomorrow night, I have other commitments and need to be up early on Saturday.

The boss hunt isn't for another three weeks. The power struggle between corns and all-stars is what's active right now so don't worry about it.

I'm sure we've all been zombies looking for brains at some point. Just look at that super zoned in focus on those from me in this picture.

It was good times in the Yeti King's boss hunt. If crazy challenges aren't on your plate of enjoyment, it's all good. Consider it saving yourself a headache? Maybe?

I've all my Rose are master, and most of cactus are elite so they're ready for the challenge.

@asukojo  I've just recently created my own account and had only helped my son before.  If you'd like me to join, I'd be happy to attempt this with any character class.

Anyone else on PS4, feel free to add me.   As fair warning, I haven't played the Sasquatch hunt (ever).  I might need a warmup round to understand the flow well enough to win with Rose or Cactus.  Last month, I beat the Yeti King in a public server and it was some of the most fun I've had gaming in a while and my main reason for creating this forum account.  

We're playing on PS4 on American West server on Friday around 7-9 PM (PST). 

We can play with favorite character first on the normal/hard level using your favorite character first. Once you got the idea, we can play as cactus/rose (normal).

Do you have microphone?

I have a mic and played today enough to get the hang of things.  I've never actually used the mic I have now so we might need to test it out.

I like the Future and Zen cactus best but don't have them yet on this new account.  I can use the stock characters with Rose or Cactus, if I don't get one of my favorites first.  I've never used all of the Roses enough to have a favorite.

We play with the other account so you can play with Zen/Future cactus. I like both of them as well.

I'm wondering if we can build castle on top, guarded with the barricade, frozen pots, mines then we attack Sassquash and burger from air using drone.

I'm not sure if Sassquash can attack the drone effectively high in the air, but the soldier can so we need to clear all the soldiers first then attack the Sassquash from the air.

Let try it out tomorrow.

I tried as Jade cactus as well on hard level and beat it on the first attempt with random. After killing around 100 zombies, I can tell my finger start to cramp after that since I've to keep clicking probably 1,000 times !!

Then I change to electric sunflower on the crazy level, beat it as well with random, my finger feel much better since I just need to keep pressing the attack button.
