@ToastedSarnie Community Challenges here could be miracle workers! Can’t believe I forgot them but couldn’t agree more.
@ippig agreed!
- @spIash_damage As long as they're sensibly set for the size of the playing community at each time . . . 😬

Even though they refuse cross-play, cross-rewards would be nice (if they made all platforms kills count in said scenario).
- @spIash_damage That's an interesting idea!
Yes to all of this. I have been wondering when/if they will bring community events into the game. I love them in GW2. But I also recognize that as the player base shrinks it will be harder and harder to get any sort of impressive numbers for such challenges. There should be some new players with Christmas coming but the game still needs work to keep them.
More new players? Uh oh- get ready everyone, for a whole new wave of nightcap mains.
- @ToastedSarnie I haven't played GW2 in a while and completely forgot about the community challenges. There were always fun. The great thing was that all players were working together to reach the community goals even though they were fighting each other.
I'd love to see it added to BfN. - @ippig Yes, me too! I still go in regularly as I love it & most of my friends stayed with it, or tried BFN then moved back to it.
The BFN challenges / events have actually made me appreciate the GW2 ones more - where I used to dislike some of the character-specific ones, I now enjoy them thoroughly - realising in there, I'm a better player with more of the characters than I thought!!!

Introduce new modes or random characters and suddenly there’s a safe environment to practice new characters.
Some of my favorite characters from GW2 (Alien Flower) I discovered I loved because of Community Portals.
- @spIash_damage Yes, good point!
