I actually like the idea of the dark bomb. Being able to use 2 bombs, even with less damage, would allow you to blanket a larger area, or stop the zombies from advancing for that much longer. The downside is that you lose your ability to 1hko things that aren't Imps, but I can live with that.
I don't think it's going to be the disaster some are predicting. I do think that for couple weeks or so, it will be overused (because of too many peas on teams) and probably the source of justifiable complaints. Undoubtedly we will see hoardes of electro peas dumping these on the objective. But due to the reduced damage, once the dust clears, I suspect that it will eventually just lead to an alternative strategy for playing peashooter. I think it will be a terrific alternative for garden ops.
