@ToastedSarnie Ok not sure what I did. I probably got killed as I kept playing thinking I had it permanently maybe even trying the next day. Guess I need a message telling me when I get it to hurry and get it to the well. LOL

Added: It's the medal I found trickiest in each area! You lose your abilities while you have it, so it makes you vulnerable & ideally you need to be fairly close to the well to get it there safely.
I also found that changing form from Oak to Acorn (which I stupidly didn't think of as an ability) for speed made it disappear - that's another possibility.

- @pmscortana As suggested by @ToastedSarnie if you are pursuing the Crystal Dog you'll want to hang around the well for as long as it takes for the Yeti or Marigold to spawn and then hope they don't flee too far away from it.
Also make sure that you keep the area clear of any mobs while you wait so that you don't have to worry about them distracting you while you hunt or vanquishing you after you pick up the Crystal Dog. - @realitysquared The Yeti just ran into the cave and the big boss came out. Ugh!
- @pmscortana Finally got this one figured out then I realized that it is a medal in every map. Definitely need to be nearby the well.

@pmscortana If you find a Treasure Yeti/Marigold, you may want to try and force him to go near the Wishing Well by chasing him there. Then once you've killed him, take the Crystal Dog to the well. Or, wait near the Wishing Well and wait for a Treasure Yeti/Marigold to appear and try and keep them near the well.
- @ToastedSarnie Now that I know how to do this, I find it funny when I actually ignore these guys they start following me around. LOL.
