Re: Do we really have a chance to see GW3?

BfN is not getting any updates, unless the Switch version is getting something we don't have on the other platforms after the release of the complete edition.

I wish we had news of a GW3 in the works. I played a bunch of all 3 current shooters this weekend, mostly GW1 and 2, and still fun, still great, but we need a new one with new stuff to do while also satisfying the many who left over BfN or because there are no updates with new stuff for any of the games now. It feels weird not having either new stuff for our current game, or at least rumors of what's to come in the next one, as we've been used to that since at least 2014.

I've been posting a ton of ideas and just general stuff lately as I want them to know we're still here, still having fun with the current games, but we're ready for a new one, as long as they don't release it in the state that BfN was in, or even GW2, which did not have a very smooth launch either. 

The Reddit, while full of memes and tier lists, is still hopping with new posts popping up regularly, so there is an audience for the game. The forums are pretty slow now but not surprising, I'm still hanging around, posting stuff and trying to stay positive about the game and community and that's hard for a natural pessimist like me, but that's how much I love these games, and why I put so much effort into posting so much stuff!

So while things don't look great right now, knowing that GW and GW2 did very well, and still are, PC supposedly has the smallest playerbase but over the weekend I was able to get full lobbies even on GW1, if only on G&G mode, means that they have to at least be considering a new PvZ shooter. It may not bring all the veterans back, but there's no doubt it could do well. If they handle it right and let them launch it in a good state, we could again have a great, fun, silly shooter to play, and hopefully for a few years of updates and new content to enjoy.
