Re: Finale discussion: Great white north

I quite enjoy this map overall and lots of nice scenery here. One of the many reasons I prefer the PvZ shooters over OW is how much more character things have; instead of point A and point B, we have the secret cabin and the hockey rink. It has some lovely vistas and I enjoy the whales jumping into the air at the first point.

A solid finale that tends to be really busy as the plants fight to keep the mirrors pointed away from the Yeti King and the zombies try to keep them warming up the frozen monarch. Point B has always been a tight, hotly contested mirror when I play, so many bean bombs and ZPGs launched into that tight, enclosed mirror, whereas the other 2 are more open. Feels like a fairly balanced one in my time playing it. Always feel a little sad when the king isn't freed and a little frozen tear appears on his cheek.

We used to all try to get in the camera shot on this one for the final shot of him dancing, even more than the fountain in Wall-Nut Hills, with the king getting down! Good stuff.

@Iron_Guard8Having maps that aren't extremely stock generic with very boring layouts like a majority of fps games is the reason why I love tf2 (even changing up simple modes like A/D in unique ways like steel) and the gw games so much.

Mirror B's positioning helps to not let zombies immediately grab all 3 mirrors much like the third point in suburbination so it isn't extremely easy for zombies to win.

It's a cardinal sin to not try and party with the king when he's freed.
