Re: Guide to Pots!

@TheSprinter85 Awesome guide! For the first few months of BfN I never bothered reading the descriptions ans stats of the pots and planted everything everywhere. I quickly learned which pot is good for which location, as the plant designs are very memorable (especially if you play PvZ1 and 2). The bots, however, are more difficult to remember. In my opinion, they look very similar, making it harder to learn where to use them.

My setup for the map shown in the first screenshots (don't know the English name atm): Gatling Pea in the front where most zombies walk in, Scardey shroom in the covered area next to it, Sunflower or Doom-Shroom on the inside (depends on your team) and Lightning Reed to the right.

It seems that many players are interested in this guide series, so I will continue making them.

@ShadowPea127 I really appreciate your feedback also. These guides do not make themselves. I have to put lots of work into them. That said, I enjoy making them. No issue at all. 🙂

@benn1nat0r The map I took all the screenshots is Peachy District. As I never placed any Pots (apart from a Doom-Shroom), I did not take all the captures at once to prevent "disrupting gameplay", by "being AFK", not placing pots to help, etc. I did it throughout the game. The where I think they should be placed and when you should use them is my opinion only - good if you want to use Pots to the fullest advantage possible. 🙂

  • I hope that Scaredy-Shroom would have infinite range.

In Loggy Acre's last point, the pot in the left (view from zombies) is almost always only to be destroyed by Deadbeard on far hill.

    I want Scaredy-Shroom can counter-snipe to him.

@CharlesHlcBendel Yes, you mean those Deadbeards on the hill that do lots of sniping? My guess is that Scaredy-Shrooms do have infinite range, but cannot “see” that far!

Yes, they always snipe plants over the canyon.

At least for me, the most vanquishing pot in PvP is Doom-Shroom.
The damages of shooting pots are so low, but Doom-Shroom can vanquish instantly.
So I prefer planting Doom-Shroom in a pot on obscure place.

@CharlesHlcBendel Yes, I do agree. I like to hide Doom-Shrooms around corners as I have even got double and triple vanquishes with it. Same with Explody Bot.
