I did but it didn't work

I tried doing this a while ago, but unfortunately, I gave up after trying to figure it out (I did check YouTube, and not just 1 video). It seems really difficult to achieve. 

I had a look to see if there seemed to be any "easy" way to solve the puzzle, but alas, I do not think so. However, I looked at a couple of websites (and I provided them here in case they were to help, but probably not):

These websites are not from YouTube, but they seem to at least cover how the different aspects of the puzzle works.

It is tricky but if you come at it with the "five steps forward, four steps back" kind of approach you will get it.

i.e. You need to do several moves to get one piece in the correct place and then go on to the next piece.
