@saintlydevilis you pretty much nailed the gist of it. for the longest I focus on megagrow, but as things in the game branch out, so do the answers and decks required to be successful. I think initially focusing on one hero is smart, it gives you good knowledge of that he's and the other faction (plant/zombie) you're not playing (I'm playing against something is the just as valuable a way to learn it as playing it). Then branding it to the entire faction from there.
I've gotten pretty proficient with all plants and aside from a few cards, my plants are filled out. Now I'm working in getting zombies up the same, but I don't think specializing, especially in the beginning is a bad thing; it just won't work forever.
