Re: Is PvZ GW2 Dead on PC?

Game is not dead. A good amount of people play; it really depends at what time you play usually. Outside of TT and gnome bomb, if you are only looking for completely full servers, you can consistently find matches containing 5-7 players on both sides otherwise 4-9 p.m. there usually are full servers across all game modes.

How do I find friends to play with? Does it matter if I play it on origins?

Things are solid on PC NA East still these days! Again had multiplayer quests (vanquish 25 human opponents) and jumped into the TT portal. The match started 12v12 but the 2nd match had shrunk to 6v6 before growing back up to 10v10 again. It could be better of course, I'd love to get other match types, but getting decent matches (and no hackers last night which is always good) is still good and not dealing with bots back-filling the matches is great (a big issue in BfN). I do play a lot of bot matches in GW2, but mostly to get quests like 'achieve suburbination' done, but better to just have actual players whenever possible.

@Iron_Guard8 on EU servers is disaster, everyday cheaters, from ones that deals huge damage up to reviving in max 2 seconds and flying goatify in the air and moving so fast, then using the well known glitch on the Moon Base Z map and killing you from under the floor, and even more the cheater speaking on microphone and calling the opposite players **ts.. is it seriously that EA should pay attention this is getting even in the harassment section now

@AceB011 That is awful and they need to deal with that garbage behavior. I have in game mics off so can't speak or hear other people (I use our private discord when teamed with folks that want to chat), and don't see a lot of bad behavior on NA East. I do see some, but not that often and haven't seen the reported player in the last week or so.

It's sad it's that bad on EU, I've played on EU servers in the past and it always seemed like the community was a bit better over there in years past than here on NA east or west. EA needs to step up their game and deal with these people ruining the experience. The game is so much fun when you don't have to deal with cheaters and toxic players, but even 1 such person can destroy that enjoyment. This is partly why some folks play private matches or leave the game entirely.

I was playing last night and that reported player was in the game. He played as a yeti and game was filled with exploding ice bombs everywhere. The game was completely ruined.  There's so many players abandoning BFN for GW2 ( & GW1 in my case) ea should pay more attention to what's going on in GW2 or risk losing them also.

well everyday even by today still same, ''new'' cheaters, and what i noticed today which is sadly.. was a player that i was knowing in game for like few months even max rank one, previously was playing fair as i know, but today i got surprised when he used cheats, and spawning tons of Mystery Sunflower's from potholes and Pirate Zombie's Al fighting against zombies, here a pic with partially covered player name, the game is for sure out of control by EA/Popcap

I haven't seen a cheater on NA East since I reported the one I mentioned earlier. Matches have been overall good with 8v8 and up even early Sunday morning (central US time). That being said, it's obvious they're still out there and ruining the games they play. It's obnoxious and ludicrous that we still encounter these cheaters in the game when so many new names are appearing and I'd rather welcome them to the game than anger them with people obviously hacking the game and ruining the experience. GW2 is my favorite multiplayer online shooter to date and seeing it handled so badly is beyond frustrating.
