Re: Is pvz gw2 worth picking up....

Just to add to the above:

It's also worth mentioning that on top of the normal garden ops, everything that is available as multiplayer content is rather conveniently also available as offline (solo v's AI players) content, with each game option fully customisable to suit your needs. Aside from that I think fleet has summed things up pretty well.

Just one other thing. If you do decide to buy GW2 then I'd opt to buy a boxed copy as opposed to a digital download because with the considerable difference in price it may well be the case that you can also snap up a copy of GW1 with what you save. At least that way you get  a shiny new game with a bunch of single player stuff and a secondary game that will guarantee you quality multiplayer.

If I were you then yes, I would most definitely consider purchasing both Garden Warfare's - assuming you could indeed get both of them for the same price as a digital copy of GW2.

Alternatively, snap up EA Access for a month, take the 10 hour trial and decide for yourself.

Also boris i'm on ps4 and i do have gw1 so i'm good on that front.

  • Ah lol, then maybe a second copy might not be such a good idea then.

A couple of examples as to why I absolutely hate these multiplayer visuals HERE and HERE and how they have a tendancy of making things look messy and confusing.

And then there's the incredibly frequent "where did that come from" instant death HERE which after a while becomes a tad tedious.

...and finally whilst i'm posting clips perhaps someone could explain the spooky level change. If nothing else, it sure keeps you guessing lol.

But like I say, as a single player experience I can't really fault PVZ2 but the multiplayer extravaganza which the bulk of people bought it for does kind of fall a bit short.
