I remember when I paid for the pack with the citron and super brainz abilities but never got any of the items. I was disappointed/upset and pointed to PS support by someone who genuinely tried to help me from EA. Then from PS support, after following a walk-through ending with re-downloading the game entirely, I was pointed back to EA.
In short, if I see a citron using a mood shield or a super brainz launching a super ultra ball, it's not a fun match.
Now...
I bought the Frontline Fighters upgrade back in January, a summer upgrade pack with the Rainbow Heal Flower and engineer pig hat, and two of three party packs for a total of four party characters (I neglected the last one for some reason).
Given my successful transactions in the past, the only thing I can come up with that could have probably caused this issue is one of the most recent bug fixes/balancing. The one I'm talking about is where Party character shared vanquishes go into effect, but had unintended Party Time for other characters.
Maybe when the update was pulled back, something happened to the transaction aspect of the game. Or alternatively, this issue could have happened when the fix for that shared vanquishing update was put up.
Just trying to get an understanding of things. I don't know how updates happen, but I think deleting/removing patches from an online game is a lot harder than it looks. (Heck, I remember the fun I had as a kid in trying to figure out how to make triggers work in the old school StarCraft in the map editor and the frustration at being confused when I couldn't resolve an issue despite numerous attempts.)
I noticed that my mailbox doesn't have the Frozen Faction upgrades any longer so now I won't be enticed.
