Re: Its about to be a year since founders...

I was there, since Picnic day 1.

I had a dream with my friends in GW2, about a PvZ game that would be more more competitive and the best game of all timed.

When I saw BfN, I was so hyped and happy, seeing my characters and the cast I play with for so long back again in a better competitive scenario. Unfortunately, it wasn't like that and it end up being a really deception for me and my friends.

To this day, this game lacks so much in terms of multiplayer compared to any other game, despite it being really cool.

I hope that, one day, my dream become true and this ends up being a blast, and that's why I am on this forum to this day.

Thanks, to everyone in this forum that battles for at least one year for this game's sake, we are facing an battle even worse than the Battle for Neighborville itself. We are warriors. 😉

  • I began playing in November and in December I joined the forum and started posting, and I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience in neighborville this past year! I love the game and love the community on this forum, and I’m grateful to the devs for making such an incredible game!

@PineapplePiano I also love the game despite its flaws. I have many chronic diseases that on certain days bring me a lot of pain (on most days I'm ok). PvZ always helps me to relax when I had a bad day.

@GutmanSca Sorry to hear the game was such a disappointment to you and your friends after having so much hope. For me it was a huge upgrade from gw2 because I only played the free roam regions in Founder's and started playing pvp when things were a bit more balanced.

And of course we as the community will still fight to make the game better with our suggestions, you couldn't have said it better 🙌.

I'd like to ask you one question if you don't mind: How did you get access to Picnic alpha testing? Is there a place everyone can register to test future pvz games?

  • @benn1nat0r In terms of the picnic, they SHOULDN'T have allowed 'random' people to test the game. I think the whole idea of picnic alpha's is for experienced players to test the game out, and actually REVIEW it. Some ppl that we allowed to play early, probably shouldn't have, and could've influenced the bad changes we got in Founders' (ever realised Soldier used to hit 7 dmg before Founders' Week 1). Then again, 'experienced' is subjective..

@Shadowphinx101 Yes I agree with you. Everyone is a little biased, but true fans of the franchise with experience try to discuss things and take their time to analyze things properly, so they can give more objective feedback. I wish I could have played the game in Picnic. I was still happy when I found out Founder's Edition was a thing because it was released just after my birthday. (my birthday is on September 1st and Founder's started on the 4th, if I'm correct. I was so excited 🙂)
