100K coins here too. I really miss the events. I want more reasons to run around my backyard. It's such a great part of the game that hasn't been important for a long time, barring getting to the town hall and getting some quests done in the center. 😢
Were you playing this time last year? I'm reasonably sure that everyone who didn't yet have the leprechaun hat got it in the pack. Last year there were no quests, but you did go to the leprechaun at the fountain to receive the hat.
Anyone who's wearing it in multiplayer is an idiot or is just having a lark. It is useless except for doing the quests it was made for two years ago.

(I have had the hat for ages, but I cannot remember how I got it, wasnt playing this time last year so must have got it from maybe the gnome quest thing or some other thing many moons ago)

Bit of a stretch to call it an "event" surely Popcap ... these so called events are very disappointing for newer players, and older ones too ☹️
