Re: mute, mute, and mute again

Workaround works for me, but it is ridiculous that it even has to be done. Please fix this, and add text chat, and we will love you forever.

There is a work around for now.  Even works if you use 3rd party programs to talk to your friends.

PC patch progress. Fix for mic always on, added push to talk, stability improvements, added 8v8 mixed mode, add vanquish confirmed mode.

Good news For PC as well! Patch has now been submitted to our final certification process, this usually takes around a week for approvals.
  • Workaround doesn't always mute everyone. It doesn't mute anyone actually, so it's useless to me.

    1. Right click speaker icon in system tray.
    2. Select Playback Devices.
    3. Select a Playback Device other than what you use for sound output.
    4. Right click it and select Set as Default Communications Device.
    5. Hit OK.
    6. Left click on the speaker icon in the system tray.
    7. Click the icon below the slider on the device you chose to mute it.

Do the same for Recording Device -> Default Communications

I can't see how it couldn't work if done like that.

If you don't have an "unused" Device to make default, we can add a virtual one if you need to.
