Seemed like there were thousands of gamers testing and very few who I’ve seen in multiplayer. This worries me somewhat (for the direction the game could be taken based on the advice of offline gamers).

If/When I get in I'll be focused on bugs and balance over all else. Once a month we have a local amateur board game testing group and a big part of it is not only getting your own designs tested, but also giving useful feedback to other designers. I'll do more than just that but I don't want to get too deep into the long term portions of the game till I have the full release version as alpha/beta will include many changes and will wipe progress anyway.

does this imply that PC beta invites haven't been sent out? i was pretty bummed that i didn't get one but, if i'm reading your message right, no PC players have gotten them yet lol

Yep you are reading that correctly.
There has been no alpha for PC yet...
There is rumoured to be one sometime but EA play their cards close to their chests concerning any information (about anything) and so we are all still waiting to see when or indeed whether there will actually be one...
but fingers crossed it wont be too long :D so keep checking in :D

Thanks so much! i think a lot of beta testing is done on consoles instead of PC because it’s harder to data mine from a console, but hopefully we will get to play too! crossing my fingers 🙂

Definitely looking forward to tests and beyond. Really want an official announcement so we can get better information about it. What little I do know sounds solid and fun. If they can improve on GW 1 & 2, two games I really enjoy, it's going to be an amazing game. It's the only one I'm really looking forward to right now besides Doom Eternal.
