Re: Origin ingame Overlay won't work after using Steam Overlay

Make sure you don't have any other overlays active to get Origin in Game to work.  Things like RiviaTuner, Overwolf, MSI Gaming App, Fraps etc.

Right click on the game in Origin and go to Properties.  Make sure "Disable Origin in Game" isn't tick'ed.

Try launching the game without Steam, instead try using Origin.

A few weeks ago someone was trying to get Steam Overlay to work (without Origin in Game of course) but wasn't successful even with all the tricks to use to get it happen.  Maybe an update happened?  If you got it work, it'd be awesome if you could share what you had to do to achieve it.

Note: This game has certain functions tied to Origin in Game and they won't work if it's disabled.  I believe it's friends game joining and the store.

The only Overlay program that I know at this time that works with Origin in Game is RiviaTuner(comes with Afterburner) and it's detection mode has to be set to "None".
