Re: Plants vs Zombies - not what I expected, wifes dreams crushed

Sadly it is a multiplayer only game, that's probably why it was so cheap. Don't really know how they could add in a story mode but I don't mind because the game is amazing as it is now. Get her to play some Garden Ops mode if she's not really into the PvP thing. The game is still solid even without a story mode, then again most of us knew it was online only pre-release. D:

This would eb cool but I'm guessing they wanted to see how much success they would have with this style game first before spending a ton of money into a campaign. I woudn't be surprised to see a massive single player dlc or even a new PVZ game in 2016 with both, seeing as the game has been so successful.

If there is ever going to be a campaign mode, I don't think it'll happen in this game as it isn't setup for it. More than likely if this game sold well enough to warrant a sequel then we might have a shot at it if the demand is high.

It's funny that you compare it to WoW because I was having the same thoughts. Playing it made me think of how fun it would be to have an arena-style multiplayer as well. 2v2's, 3v3's, 5v5's.

Campaign with a chomper tanking, sunflower healing, cactus/peashooters doing DPS. Or all-star tanking, scientist healing, etc...

Either way, I feel like the game is already well-balanced for it. Especially the arena-style games. Very small maps where the teams have to use great coordination to win. I'd love it.
