This might seem very basic or stupid but have you tried removing the power from your router (+other network equipment) + Playstation for 5 minutes?

Yes, I've restarted/unplugged both the PS4 and the router, but still haven't had any luck :\
Yesterday a friend of mine invited me to join his session, and I got on without any issues, and played for ~1.5 hours. But afterward I signed out and kept getting the same error, even if he tried to invite me in again.
