It drops one star at a time and ends up dropping 3 every 2 seconds just like the regular one who drops all 3 at once. It is a 500K failure!

The new Rainbow Heal Flower is not a 500k failure; it's anyone's choice to use it. I find one particular use for it:
The standard Heal Flower usually drops 3 sun drops all at once, and does that every few seconds or so. The problem there is that one or two plants could always steal away those sun drops from everyone else, making it difficult to heal everyone. That's where the Rainbow Heal Flower comes in. Instead of 3 sun drops every few seconds, it only releases one sun drop at a time, each one spawning in under one second each. It has it's benefits; I'd suggest getting it.
...as long as you have enough coins to buy it, that is. That's the hard part.
I like it alot more!
- I bought this last night and tried it out briefly and at first impressions I think I prefer it over the default Heal Flower since it is constantly dropping Rainbow Sun Drops with nearly no delay.
Same here. Frankly, it would have to perform noticeably worse than the default for me not to use it. It's a freaking rainbow flower!!
