Super fun or dreadful depending on the skill of the teams and their willingness to play the objective, also some maps seem better for this mode than others.  I've got plenty of all stars to level further but only mystic flower and electro citron, both of which I suck at.  So I prefer playing zombies.  I've been getting better vanguish numbers than usual and have come to really enjoy playing gnome bomb.

Think this is the fastest ive lvled a character. Took me roughly one day to lvl Iron Citron. I love him!
I just hope he will show up in the stickerpack soon so I can play him later too 🙂

Plants are definitely not winning 90% of the time. If anything it seems zombies have the edge from my experience. Either way, its rather even. In either case, I am grateful to not need to worry about chompers or imps ruining my day trying to plant the bomb. Though, I will say, though this event is usually fun, once the game goes into overtime it can turn sour really fast. I've now had 2 games go for over 30 minutes in overtime, several more between 5 and 15 minutes over. For an already long game mode, overtime can quickly suck out the fun of the event.

Haha! I'm in the same boat as you are. I only need the Electro Citron and Mystic Flower to level up and I have no idea how to play them. I'll probably end up leveling those plants with Stars but always wondered if there were people who also weren't good using these plants :-)

This particular Super Mix Event could be a memorable one for a while. I was doing a session of the new Super Mix Event, and the session went all the way to overtime. I was on the Zombies side, using an All-Star variant, and we were on Frosty Creek. The session reached overtime, with the Zombie's Last Tombstone on one side of the map, and the Plant's very last garden on the opposite side. In overtime, I was defending that last tombstone using tackle shields to stop the plants from taking the Gnome Bomb to it. It was a tight deadlock in overtime, but eventually it was the Zombies that got the win in the end. This was a proper winning moment for the session.

Overtime is not spoiled the fun. It's actually the BEST part of the Gnome bomb. I love when it's start getting intense back and forth for long time.

Love to stop/deny enemy from one yard line (YESSSS) and hate when being stop on 1 yard line...Arrgghh,Come on!!

We can get so many vanquished (>30-60). With this event (explosion), the number can goes up really fast. You can level up from 1 to 8-10 in just 1 game.

For rainbow stars...I don't really care since I've open all the chest and collected 50 for next week.

I really hate this mode. When I am on the zombie team, my team sucks, they never shoot or revive like idiots. When I am on the plant side, All star ability spam, broken simply explode that dosen't kill scientist but kills me. I usally get about 30-40 kills while 2nd place in my  team gets about 15. Glad i opened all the chest and have my 50 stars for next week.

I like this mode because it can get so crazy. Ppl are going nuts pressing every button they have just to get that bomb placed.
Its so frustrating running like mad with the bomb, only to be shot 1 meter from the garden.

I agree that it can get abit boring in the end with Overtime. Sometimes I just want it over with.
But at the same time ist also alot of fun if both teams are equally skilled and its a tight game.
I prefer losing a very even game than one where the other team is just dominating completely. Sure, its usually over really fast, but it leaves a feeling of bitterness in me and I
didnt have fun.
In a tight and even game I have atleast had alot of fun and a feeling that "we can still do this" and I know everyone has done their absolut best to try and win.

Our first game went into overtime and it was so long a few of us just gave up on the zombie side it lasted almost 40 minutes the top kills were 146 lol.  It probably would have just kept going but working that hard for 5 to 7 stars is insane 🙂 

Played both sides as all 4 base characters won and lost as both. Lots of simply exploded deaths, lots of laughs. Also @Gormey and I vanquished each other a few times Friday night!

The only issue I really had was the profusion of Iron and Frozen Citrons on the plant side. Overall I liked this one, not my favorite but still fun and very chaotic!
