Re: Team Vanquish event

My weekly challenge tips for this week's Power Team Vanquish event are as follows, for those who want those rainbow stars this week 🙂:

1. Win a Match. When joining a lobby, there is a chance that you will get placed within the middle of a match where your team is winning and/or wins. In that case, there's a quick win (I managed to get lucky in this regard). As this is Team Vanquish, healing and reviving are very valuable as you can somewhat prevent the enemy team from gaining points and take points off of them, so it's good to aim for as many of those two as you can. For that reason, healers are really valuable. Attack characters are also a good choice as the aim is to get vanquishes to win and Attack characters are well suited for that role. But any class should do, the general aim is to try and help your team as much as you can, from healing, reviving, vanquishing and so on, and hopefully it should not be long before you get your hands on that win.

2. Vanquish an Enemy while Invincible. This means that you are required to get a single vanquish using by picking up the Crystal Dog and using its invincibility power (Wizard Zee-lixir may work as well, but I wouldn't know). This should not be particularly hard, as you deal double damage while you are invincible with the Dog and have an increased movement speed (needs confirmation). You also gain complete invulnerability for about 10-15 seconds, this along with your buffs mean you should not have much trouble getting a vanquish. The tricky part is where the Crystal Dog is going to appear, and picking it up first.

There are three specific locations in each map where the Crystal Dog can appear, from all my observing, one of the locations being directly in the middle of the map, and the other two being relatively close to the middle. The location where it will appear is randomly selected between one of these three locations. Try to remember where these locations and hang around one of them. A message will appear, along with an icon, when it is about to appear. Make haste when it appears and pick it up to get its buffs. The good thing is that enemies may be trying to compete with you and your team to collect the Crystal Dog so you may find a lot of enemies nearby. Focusing on trying to take out characters with low health may be worthwhile due to your increased damage and they will be vanquished with ease, or high health as they tend to have a lower speed and are easier targets to hit. Being a character with high mobility while doing this challenge can also help due to being able to chase and track enemies down.

3. Vanquish 3 Enemies while Invincible in a Single Spawn. This challenge is relatively difficult, but not particularly time-consuming unless you have trouble obtaining it. This challenge requires you to obtain 3 enemy vanquishes using the Crystal Dog's invincibility power in a row, without being vanquished. You do not have to complete this challenge with one use of the Crystal Dog, you can do it as many times as you want. You must complete this in the same match. Lastly, if you are vanquished, and you get revived, you keep all progress you have currently made towards this challenge, so it may be worth waiting for a revive. I can confirm this. Being a character with high survivability, such as health, access to invincibility, high mobility, that sort of stuff, is recommended by me because you are less likely to get vanquished during this challenge.

If you pick up the Crystal Dog, and then you get a few vanquishes and your buff expires, it may be worth keeping out of sight of enemies as you can keep your challenge streak this way. However, you will want to stay close to where the Crystal Dog spawns so you can quickly pick it up and gain the buff before anyone has a chance to stop you. Whenever you pick it up, do your best to hunt and vanquish as many enemies as possible. Then, after the buff expires, try and keep hidden from enemies. Then, when you pick it up again, rinse and repeat. You should be able to complete this challenge with about 1-3 uses of the Crystal Dog, if you are not vanquished or get revived. 

Remember, you get a double damage and increased movement speed buff while you have the Crystal Dog's buff, so be sure to make the most of it!
