Re: "This game will not run in a virtual environment"

@Hynamiii Can you try running PvZ in compatibility mode to see if you continue getting this message?

I'm having exactly the same problem on my Surface Go 2.

I'm running from the EA app in Windows 11 but I had the same error in Windows 10 before I upgraded to Windows 11.

I've tried every combination of compatibility mode settings as I can but none of them help.

  • @EA_Illium Hello! Surface Pro 6, having the same issue. Just adding to the list in hopes EA answers soon about this issue we are all having.

@EA_Illium Hi. Surface Pro 7, same problem with loading Plants vs. Zombies. Standard Edition accessed through Epic. I had linked my EA account with Epic. I use the EA launcher though and get the above error message. Anyway to fix this? How to remove the link to Epic if it is a solution?

Just came to say that I also tried all the different options for compatibility mode, surface 7 pro, still getting the "won't run in a virtual environment" issue.
