Re: trading stars

I wouldn't just play the unbalanced portal events for now and get the red chest which should guarantee a key last time I check I could be wrong but trading in 7 stars for 1 key isn't really worth even if you had 200 stars the most you would get is 27

The key sitting prominently next to the Seagull in Town Hall is necessary to unlock the door to the Trials of Gnomus. The random colored keys that you get from the Red Mystery Portal Chest open the individual Trial Doors of the matching color and you can only hold one of those at a time so you should definitely buy the primary Key and then be certain to use each colored Trail Key immediately to open the matching door, even if you don't immediately try to do the Trial beyond it, so that it won't be swapped out for the next Trail key that you receive.

There's nothing worse then thinking that you've been collecting all the Colored Trial Keys only to discover you were actually swapping one key for another the entire time and only have the last one you were given.

thought only the max level people played gnomus? as it can take 3+ hours to beat the CRAAAZZZY boss

it does seem a bit too easy to farm stars =/

  • @abc1426918355,

The Trials of Gnomus can be completed by any player of any rank as there are no "Bosses" in the Trials themselves- all four are a simple test of your abilities as a Player.

Each Trial does have a Guardian which needs to be defeated which serves as a Boss Battle but that occurs in a separate location and at a separate time from the actual Trial.

Because of the structure of the Trials not everyone will be able to complete them because some of them are quite challenging.

The names are confusing I guess.  You're talking about the Bros. Gnomus boss hunt, which is a separate thing from the Trials of Gnomus.

Pandareno1999 seems to be right- I think you are confusing the Boss Hunt "The Brothers Gnomus" with the Trials of Gnomus; they are two separate things.

If you go down into the sewers to where the Crazy Targets range is across from Crazy Targets is another tunnel that leads you deeper into a cavern where the Chamber of Gnomes lies. Across from the Chamber of Gnomes you'll see a giant padlocked door. The key that you buy from the Seagull in Town Hall opens this door and on the other side you'll find a portal to the Gnomiverse where the Trials of Gnomus are set up.
