Re: [UPDATED] Mobile - Loss of ads in PVZ Heroes

@EA_Shepard Hey, thanks for the response! It appears I’ve lost ads completely, as this is day 5 with no ad in sight. When they were appearing, I would receive about 6 ads in the morning, giving me 30 gems total. Before they stopped appearing, something strange happened, where the game gave me the option to watch way more ads than normal, running out after I watched roughly 15 ads in a row. Now, they’re gone. I’m not sure what to do - I’ve deleted and redownloaded the game to get the latest update and I’ve turned on tracking. This was a great source of gems for me. 

@King_Jinzo I will reach out and ask around but I honestly haven't seen anything on ads at all. I tested it and got some ads at least on two different iOS devices.

@EA_Shepard Happy to know this isn’t happening to anything else, but more confused than ever, ha! Here is the following info: 

Platform: Unsure what is meant by Platform 

Device Model: iPhone 13, Verizon, iOS 17.3.1 

Connected to Wifi

Current App Store Region: United States 

Date / Time Issue Occurred: Can’t pinpoint the exact time, but likely to be about a week or so that ads stopped appearing 

What Type of Issue Do You Have: Ads stopped appearing 

Which Mode Has This Happened In: PVZ Heroes

I have the same issue that since the PvZ update, the daily Ads won‘t show up; however, I found out that when I delete the app and redownload it, the daily Ads show up until I watch the maximum (20). Then their gone again next day until I delete the app.

As this also happens to my iPad, it seems for me like a bug on iOS devices. Sadly I couldn‘t test it on Android devices, since I don‘t own one.

Have you reset the ad preferences on your device and reinstalled the game since it started happening?

@EA_Shepard I’ve deleted and redownloaded the game to get the most recent update and turned ad preferences on via both my iPhone settings and in PVZ Heroes. Unfortunately, I’m having the exact same experience as both @R0yal787 and @BlacksnakeWoW - Once reinstalling the game, I receive an initial set of ads that allow me to watch more than the typical daily amount but after completing those, the ads go away entirely. It’s since been about 4 days since resetting everything and not a daily ad in sight =( 

The Ads are still missing for me and I reinstalled the app multiple times. Ads are also allowed in the settings.

Like mentioned above, the Ads still only show up for me after reinstalling the game and after watching 20 of them, they don‘t appear anymore.

Btw, is there a specific Ads preference setting to reset Ads on iOS? I thought that got removed some versions ago.

I found this article which tells you how to reset ad id now. I’m not 100% sure if it works because I haven’t tried it, but here it is anyways.

Hi @R0yal787, after uninstalling and redownloading the game, that was the first thing I tried and it hasn’t seemed to have any effect on ads appearing in game. I’ve also made sure to have ad tracking on within the PVZ Heroes game settings as well. Thank you for the article, we appreciate you! 

@EA_Shepard Thank you for all your help with this. May I request that you tag me when you have an updated response? That way, I’ll be notified via email instead of having to check everyday for an update.

I had face the same problem too. Please fix this because I can't watch the ads anymore!! I am using android 13 but the ads didn't appear . I think its a bug

This problems gets after the update. Before update, the ads can be watch many times but this feature is gone after the new update. I think you need to check the old updates compare to the new ones. Please I am waiting you to fix the ads because this is the most efficient ways to get the gems in pvz heroes. Thank you ❤❤❤

You need to test it again by watching ads till the limits, and then the ads didn't appear forever. Please understand us
