Re: Will Rux ever return? Or is this the end of GW2 for good?

I'm surprised a lot more people haven't added to this thread. It's my fave game and I'm still working on getting legendaries etc (and trying to figure out if Rux still gives out the costumes for tree etc) and I look forward to the bug being resolved. 

If you're fixing Rux, is there any possibility that you can add back the game modes named Boss Hunt and Cats vs Dinos to the mystery portal? They were monthly game modes just like the ones we have currently, but devs forgot to put it back into rotation. There are achievements that are impossible to complete due to this issue.

Hello! I know this is a stretch and you probably won't see this message but I wanted to ask on behalf of the very active GW2 community if you could consider supporting the game again. It would really mean a lot even if you did tiny updates every now and then. I know you decided to discontinue this brilliant game a few years ago but not only that, you also left behind a lot of loyal players who are still playing this game to date. It just goes to show how good the game is, that many people are still not bored of it. Please consider this, GW2 was one of the best games that many of us have ever played and it would be a dream to see it updated again. Is there a way that when you get this fixed, you could bring back the old town hall game modes in the rotation too? Many people still play this game and some Xbox achievements are impossible to complete because you guys took away these modes. Also, please consider bringing back old cosmetics in Rux like, PVZ Heroes hats, and Hovergoat and Torchwood skins!! Thank You!! 😊

I understand if this isn’t possible but sense your fixing rux you have to be sending a least one person back to the game can that person take say every town hall event and put it at random instead of the few we have this would keep the game alive and thriving every week now also could you at least put cats vs dinos in for the newer people at get the achievements for that game mode thank you for reading this and I hope you have a good day

As you can probably see from the chain of replies to this announcement, many people are asking if GW2 could get updates again. I myself alongside the active GW2 community would really appreciate if this were to happen. We understand the status of the game as it is currently and would love for past content to be added back into the game. This mostly being Rux items no longer in his shop, past town hall game modes (such as soil survivors, boss hunt, cats vs Dino’s, etc). We as a dedicated player base would also be very glad if the game could receive some small balance updates to make the game the best it could be, (mostly detonate characters needing a large nerf, and other overpowered variants). Even with the inclusion of payed dlc, there’s many like myself that would buy with little hesitation to continue to receive content for the game we love. You can see this demand for content purely through the increased mods being made and downloaded for the game on pc, with many wanting something new out of the game. Not only this but community morale has been quite low with recent news of the franchise, with this being a great opportunity to bring in a wider and supportive fan base, allowing the pvz ip to grow, (instead with it currently being on a bit of a decline). I know you probably get this a lot but just adding past content back into the game would be a great idea not only for fans, but for pvz as a whole. 

Very much agreed I really wish they’d make more pvz shooters and do updates for us again. Even tho I love EP he is broken

EA we know you need money GW2 is getting you that money to make even more amazing things, Just give us the updates regularly, For old times sake

I hope ya'll bring boss hunt and Cats vs Dinos back, and maybe some gamemodes that aren't in rotation. (I dont think there are more gamemodes, but still) (Edit: Yup, forgot about soil survivors-) Boss hunt would be great to be back since it's achievements are impossible to get rn (even tho i have all achievements, but still, since its my favorite gamemode, and same goes for Cats vs Dinos)

We ask you on your knees please: bring us back rux, balance some characters, ban the hackers and bring back the old ways and possibly community challenges as well.
I'm trying to repopulate pvzgw2 more by letting all my friends buy it. it is the only decent game, which is not boring.
It has a lot of things that other games can only envy.
I understand the money problem.
But PLEASE GIVE US AT LEAST WHAT we asked for.
Please, we are really sad, we don't want pvzgw2 to end ... and we DON'T WANT TO END PVZ SHOOTER.
Please try to understand us ...
It doesn't cost you that much.
Do it for us ...
We will not disappoint you ...
And maybe an update that integrates the Cross-Platform so the community will be more united.

I have the DLC and hate that I can't play the game modes I paid for and I just don't want to believe Popcap cares so little about their game and community ☹️

It would probably only mean a few minutes of work to include the game modes again....
