I'm sure they'll start selling coins and then people who want to skip the grind can pay for an XP boost.

its just like the Fish in the sewer, you paid that Stars and you got XO, its good for characters you dont like to play, I hate certain characters, and I will be loathed to play them, so getting XP for cash is fine. I personally dont have a rush to finish the game, I am enjoying the process. Its exciting to be a founding member and to find all the secret spots and then help others.
they said in the first live stream they will NOT be selling coins, but you might be on to something in the terms of boosts.... why sell coins when you can sell coin BOOSTERS...which still keep people in game.
Coin boosts may be part of the battle pass system coming in the future. I can't see myself using the machine but I don't mind it being there.
