Rewards of the first season are a real mockery
I was in the Ultimate league, with 1590 stars, and only got 7 packs as a reward. ONLY 7 PACKS!! What an offense!... 5 gems per star would have been fine. Or maybe some legendary cards. But 7 packs is a joke on the face for the players...
In addition, the game says that players who in the first season reached the last leagues will start the second season with advantage. ADVANTAGE?? What is the advantage? Starting the second season in the Diamond League is not an advantage, but quite the opposite: a great disadvantage, since it prevents me from getting the gems of the previous leagues. If you had really wanted to give us an advantage you would have given us the gems we would have obtained in previous leagues.
I do not want your "advantage"! Please do not give it to me. I want to start in the Wood League! Why does it have to be an obligation and not an option? Ah; Of course: $$$.
Hi Astro! Yeah I'm pretty disappointed that I only got 4 packs for reaching level 29. IT IS pretty ridiculous how someone in ultimate only gets 7 packs ( I was expecting you guys to get at least 10 and even more). In addition, I thought we were going to get like maybe a 100 gem payout based on how many leagues you passed, but nope, all we got was some trash packs and a few of them. i only received a few duplicate rares, a bunch of common duplicates, and several new galactic cards. I've played from around the time the game released to right now and I STILL do not own every card. I only have like 1 octo pet, 1 plankwalker, a cornucopia, walnut bowling and that's about all. Still haven't gotten the pine clone yet or the winter melon and a ton of other leggies.
Honestly, I don't see the point of going for a higher league anymore. Wherever league I go, I'm usually facing players 1-2 leagues above me or players in ultimate. And guess what EA? I CAN"T compete with these guys. They have MORE card varieties than I do. I almost always lose (unless the guy has some bad draws or misplays). They have multiple copies of legendaries or super rares, which I NEED, to make some powerful synergy decks. How do i rank up if I can't even get enough gems or cards to rank up?
Well, in conclusion, I basically sold hours and hours to season 1 only to get 4 meager packs, no gems, and a reset to Rank 5, which makes the grind a lot more tougher. So some suggestions you SHOULD take:
- Gem reward: 100 gems per rank you've climbed. (E.g. if you're in ultimate you would have like 700 gems since you've advanced 7 leagues). Yeah I know being EA, this is a lot to ask for, but come on: Players in ultimate invest time and sometimes even money just to get up there and all they get is a 7-pack?? Seems like you want to make your game's rank system seem useless.
- More Packs. League 1: 5, League: 2: 7, League 3: 9 and so on, it scales by 2. Those in ultimate league with at least 20 extra stars get an extra 3 packs.
- Fix the matchmaker. We should playing players in our league only!!! Super unfair for a newbie to be playing against someone who has all the cards. Yeah, that thing is pretty broken. Either it's me a level 28 against a taco league or ultimate league or me playing a rank 5 who somehow has seemingly all the cards and a new hero.
- Bring back 10 gems per ad. Ok, a lot of the community has actually requested this back as it allows us to build our strategy decks much faster and stand a chance against more professional players. I don't know your economics behind this move, but you're still getting the same number of ads as before (I'm sure).
Overall, I thought this update was going to be great with the galactic gardens cards and pinata prizes. i was hoping for real good prizes too. It actually motivated me to play some more, but now, I don't feel like playing anymore! This update wasn't so great after all.
I just hope EA will actually read these posts and make the fixes.
