Rose feedback needed

As a rose player I have fairly good knowledge of what rose needs in her playstyle. As all of you know, the patch that destroyed rose was absolutely needed but some of the changes didn't make sense to me. Rose's tracking was greatly reduced (understandably) as well as her health decreasing from 125 HP -> 100 HP, and time snare and gratify were nerfed in the amount of time opponents were trapped in it etc... If you are going to nerf her tracking at least keep her health up so she can stand a chance up close. The patches that helped her were kinda meh... But anyway this is my idea for the rose class.

ALL

Tracking angle slightly increased

Tracking distance slightly increased

Opponents are trapped in gratify for a few seconds longer

ROSE
health increased 100 HP-> 125 HP

Magic thistles damage: 10/11 -> 8/9

DRUID ROSE
100 HP -> 125HP

(Optional) primary weapon dmg: 5/6 -> 4/5

FIRE ROSE
health stays at 100

You can jump while charging

Fire damage slightly decreased

Projectile speed and rate of fire increased

(Optional) full charge now takes slightly longer to charge

FROST ROSE
health stays at 100

Full charge takes slightly longer

You can now jump while charging

(Optional) rate of fire increased

Please give me ur feedback on these changes I put a lot of thought into this. I tried to give her some nerfs to compensate for her health/ tracking buffs, thank you!

  • I have read the description on ROSE and I think it is great. But I think what would really help is if you could possibly create a survey on what the players think about them. Here is how I think you should put it:

    1. Questions on whether some characters are overpowered, neutral, or underpowered. If the player doesn't have any experience, they could just put "never played this character before".
    2. The player's thoughts about the maps for Turf Takeover/ Herbal Assault,  Garden/Graveyard Ops, and all the other maps (gnome bomb, vanquishing each other for fun or for orbs, subordination, and etc.). Ask the players about the maps such as asking them if they need to be changed or have seen any bugs or glitches with them.
    3. Some features and ideas that you or some other players came up with. Especially about the community challenges that appear by the town hall. You can ask them about their thoughts on them and if they would like them in the game or not.
    4. (Let this here be optional if you have any other ideas to add to here if you wanna ask them anymore questions)

    🕒🏀☕🖥️ I also have some ideas that I came up with or were suggested by @FelipeGames2000 or may have been mentioned by some other people. I am sorry if I have stole some of your ideas as you keep on reading this. 

     Starting with the stars that you collect from completing quest. I am sorry if I stole any of your ideas and some ideas I have decided to add a few details to. @FelipeGames2000 idea was that they could be used to unlock character stickers to unlock more characters for a certain amount of stars (depending on the rarity so player's couldn't be unlocking them too fast). I also read about someone mentioning have bosses being playable (such as giga torch, disco dancing zombie, especially those two bosses that you may or may have not defeated when on a quest, including Crazy Dave and Zomboss, etc.). However, there can only be a maximum of 3 bosses for both the plants and zombie sides and players can only use them once or twice per match. The bosses are available only after 3 minutes once the match has started and they cost about either 12 stars to use them or 10,000 coins to use them. Yes, the bosses can be used in the backyard and you have the option to control them. They can be summoned for the same price as in a match. Also, you can trade a certain amount of coins for stars. This will also work the other way around. Here is a system I have figured out here (still in a work in progress though so may need some help to balance this out):

    • 25,000 coins = 1 star         <> 1 star   = 3,000 coins
    • 35.000 coins = 2 stars       <> 2 stars  = 10,000 coins
    • 50,000 coins = 3 stars       <> 3 stars  = 15,000 coins
    • 100,000 coins = 10 stars    <> 10 stars = 50,000 coins

    This is all the ideas I have came up with for now. Some ideas may be added here. Please leave your feedback so I can see what needs to be changed or if you have another ideas that would like to add or change.

    Thanks for all your ideas, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "make a survey" do u mean just make a new post with those 4 questions you mentioned?
  • Honestly, the only buff Rose needs is to Arcane Enigma's consistency. The current tooltip says you should be invincible while it's up...but....that's kind of a humongous lie.

     I understand dying to Fire/Poison DoT's on you well before you trigger the ability - but you really shouldn't get killed two to three seconds into the ability by random gunfire. (especially if you've been careful!) Lag happens - and you often get killed using this ability by things that really, REALLY shouldn't harm you.

    In short, Popcap should fix some of the bugs with Arcane Enigma - and update the tooltip if it's not supposed grant temporary invulnerability to damage.

    I dont think rose needs a buff of any kind, while she is weak in short distance, in medium distance and assisting she is very good, also if they upgrade rose there will be more ppl playing it, and isnt necessary more than 1 or 2max of them in a team

    As is now, I often must switch to rose because there is none and team needs teleporter.

    Rose is probably the less played plant and is the weaker for sure. There is no need of more than 1-2 because is so bad

  • Survey definition: a general view, examination, or description of someone or something. This is what I mean by creating a survey.😃😃😃😇😇😇😇
