I know it only has a limited range, but a few other people are talking about it in the general forum, apparently its a known bug.
It is a bug, be it servers over load or slow internet.
It's a pain, somewhat frequently reported. I thought t was just PS4 but I guess not. Reported fix is quitting the app and restarting.
