Rose vs Goat: Community Challenge Rewards

Sometimes the CP items are just like regular sticker items.  I forget what I got from them.  The 50 star chest usually has classic gestures or customizations, the 30 star chest "set" items," and I forget what the 10 star chest gives, I only open it when I'm planning to do extra mystery portal games anyway.

Oh, I was referring to the Community Challenge rewards from today's event. I believe they are preset. 500,000 is coins, 1,000,000 is a pack of some sort and 1,500,000 is a scrumptious or infinity item. Since I got 25K and a pack of 5 cards I am assuming the 50K reward I got was supposed to be the scrumptious or infinity item. I was just hoping someone else could confirm if I got coins because I am unlucky or if I have all the items already. (I would claim I have all the Infinity Time items except there is at least 1 special item that does not appear in the sticker book until you get it. I do not know if there are others I may be missing.)

My mistake, clearly I didn't read your post title closely.  I haven't been able to get on yet today and I was still thinking of last week's portal.

The Community portal prize packs can only draw from a limited pool of resources so there is a chunk of stuff excluded from them.

Should you wind up having every item in the pool that they draw from they default to awarding you coins instead.

Yeah, it sounds like I have all the Infinity Time items then. Really wish special stickers didn't just pop into the sticker book. Makes it very hard to determine if I am missing anything. Guess I just have to wait until Infinity Packs come back to confirm. But, I feel better now. It seems I wasn't just stupid unlucky.

I'm with you.  I also got all coins for the two top prized chests.  Totally sucks!

I wish they would add a disclaimer to Max Rank players saying that, "you will only get coins if you already have XXXX number of items".

We all know there are MANY LOCKED items, from legendary hats or even just regular, classic and special items, but yet, they give the same

damn coins.

Very disappointed with this community challenge and also Rux's items.

I understand all the discussion about prolonging the life of this game, every thing they can do to extend the life.....but just something for them to give something back to us (loyal players).  This is on PopCap. PopCap has control of actual game play.  This is Not on EA.

Just totally discouraging.

I'm going slightly off topic so I will keep it brief. I personally don't see why they couldn't add a few new things every few months. Does the game make so little money that a new map or cosmetic set is too much to make? Specifically on cosmetics, if they added a handful every few months they wouldn't have to drag out the ones they have for so long. They could be easier to get because there would be more to collect in the future. It doesn't need to be a lot. Don't need an Infinity Time mode, Trials of Gnomus or Mystery Portal mode every update. Just something simple. Everyone collecting stickers won't bang their heads against the wall fighting RNG and people will have a reason to keep coming back. I don't know, it seems like common sense to me, but perhaps there is something about the video game business that eludes me.
