So, I just logged into the game this Afternoon, and noticed that the Prize Bulbs aren't available for Purchase anymore.

I don’t mind the Bulbs coming back to the store as long as we can exchange them for Rainbow Stars.
I don't see why Bulbs need to be purchased for Rainbow Stars.
They're easily obtainable through Gameplay, Daily Challenges, Character Challenges, etc.
There's no reason why they need to be sold for real money, and no one in the Community asked for this option to be put in game.
And like I mentioned above about converting Bulbs to Rainbow Stars, that most likely won't happen. They're not that generous.
@iluminatethesky I sure appreciate and respect how you try to hold them accountable in a tactful manner. I agree with your post but don’t mind money being a secondary/tertiary means of obtaining Rainbow Stars because some people don’t have the time, skill, patience, etc to earn Bulbs. I also appreciate the fact some schedules aren’t autonomous and time-gated items can cause a person to miss their favorite characters cosmetics.
For example: I’ve just spent my Stars on the Cactus outfit and don’t even play her anymore but still LOVE the character. If I was out of town and came home to see her suit available and knew full-well I didn’t have the chance to purchase it and didn’t have enough Stars (nor Bulbs, due to being out of town), I would be slightly broken-hearted because I missed out on a suit someone like dwooten could obtain before me? 🤔😢
Sure the suit would show up at Rux again but I wanna dump on people in my new shiny suit before anyone else has it. 😍
I meant the Bulbs being sold for real money.
I don't mind the Rainbow Stars being in game to purchase Cosmetics, but I don't think they Bulbs should be sold.
I do like that Cactus Outfit though, I can see why you bought it 😃

I don’t care for micro transactions but as long as rewards can be earned in-game don’t mind them.

And I'm hoping they're going to do something about the earn rate for Rainbow Stars, because it's reaaaaaaally slow.
- @iluminatethesky Exactly, that's why you can't really complain. The decision is dumb as in "but are you guys really going to make money from that?" I think it's amazing that the developers are adding microtransactions that don't affect players, as there isn't much of a grind for the prize map and most of the time you won't even consider spending money for it. It is optional though, so even if you don't play for a month, it's your choice on spending money to get stuff you missed out on.
@shurikeninja we currently have no choice but to spend real money to obtain items and that’s what offends most people. Many of us don’t mind spending extra money but shouldn’t be forced. The option to buy isn’t an issue bothering most it’s “buy now or miss out because you can’t earn this by playing our game.”

The Bulbs are easily obtainable enough, that they don't need to be bought, so the option to purchase them with Rainbow Stars should not be an option. What bothers me the most, is that it's roughly $75-$80 USD, if you purchase the entire Prize Map outright with 0 Bulbs.
That's more than the game itself, and the Cosmetics aren't really worth it to begin with. I don't have any issue with Rux selling cosmetics, fine, they need to make money somehow.
In the case of people missing out on the Cosmetics from the Prize Map, they should put them in the Reward O' Tron, or have some other way of obtaining them.
Annnnddd *drum roll* they are back. 75 bulbs for 2,500 stars.
Edit - On the plus side, I've almost gathered enough stars (with the starting reward of 500, I think?) to buy a legendary costume. So without the reward, it should only take 5 months per legendary costume if you buy nothing else. Yay?
