So, I just logged into the game this Afternoon, and noticed that the Prize Bulbs aren't available for Purchase anymore.
Not sure if this was intentional, or if they heard our Feedback, but I'm personally glad that they can't be purchased anymore with Rainbow Stars.
Hopefully it stays this way from now on 🙂

And I'm hoping they're going to do something about the earn rate for Rainbow Stars, because it's reaaaaaaally slow.

We need prizes to be no more than 200-300 Stars or an increased rate (x4-x7 the current rate so completionists can obtain all items, if they REALLY spend time.)...
@iluminatethesky The first time Rux ever offered Prize Bulbs for Rainbow Stars, they were only available for 3 weeks, according to the timer. It was only available for 3 weeks, so I believe it was only a limited-time offer. The question now is, will he sell prize bulbs for rainbow stars again? Or just do it in reverse? Or not at all?🤐

And I don't think they're going to give us the option to exchange bulbs for Rainbow Stars :/
My guess is that it was either an experiment to see the community reaction or we will be seeing it at the end of each month for people trying to finish the prize map. Only time will tell . . .
@shurikeninja we currently have no choice but to spend real money to obtain items and that’s what offends most people. Many of us don’t mind spending extra money but shouldn’t be forced. The option to buy isn’t an issue bothering most it’s “buy now or miss out because you can’t earn this by playing our game.”

The Bulbs are easily obtainable enough, that they don't need to be bought, so the option to purchase them with Rainbow Stars should not be an option. What bothers me the most, is that it's roughly $75-$80 USD, if you purchase the entire Prize Map outright with 0 Bulbs.
That's more than the game itself, and the Cosmetics aren't really worth it to begin with. I don't have any issue with Rux selling cosmetics, fine, they need to make money somehow.
In the case of people missing out on the Cosmetics from the Prize Map, they should put them in the Reward O' Tron, or have some other way of obtaining them.
Annnnddd *drum roll* they are back. 75 bulbs for 2,500 stars.
Edit - On the plus side, I've almost gathered enough stars (with the starting reward of 500, I think?) to buy a legendary costume. So without the reward, it should only take 5 months per legendary costume if you buy nothing else. Yay?
I spent 250 of mine for a hairy hat for acorn so sadly it'll be a while still before I can invest in a legendary 😃
And anyway... not sure I can choose which one yet 😃
