I'm also having the same issue with PVZ GW2 PC via Origin, which I noticed on 5th April 2022. No pop up message like last time, but Rux's is closed and Rux no where to be seen. Everything else working as normal.
(Rux still there on my PS4 version.)
It has been a few days since I made this post & I decided to do a fresh clean install of Windows to verify for myself. I have confirmed after firing up the game & jumping in that the same issue is still there! I am by now 99.99% sure that this problem IS a bug/glitch of some sort.
I'm honestly quite surprised that there haven't been any other similar posts about this... Oh well, let's just hope EA/Origin will get this straightened out & fixed. :/
Community AdminThanks for the posts. Checking now I see this too, I'm just reinstalling to an Xbox to check there too, and we'll flag this.
On the surface it does appear similar to the issue in Edit:Jan, just without the same error message, and this time it only appears to affect the PC version.
@EA_DavidCould you also please take a look at Boss Hunt, Cats vs. Dino, Community Challenges in the Mystery Portal and give us an update?

As far as the pc version goes, that's pretty much what I stated since the beginning. 🤷♂️ Hoping this can fixed properly & soon! 🙂
