Rux was listed on this week when the first event calendar show up, then being removed, and surprisingly, he really show up today and sell NEW ABILITY: Red Artichoke.

It's a shame that they put in a legendary hat that's already been sold instead of one of the many waiting in the wings. And since when are legendary hats 500K? They used to be, I think, 300. I'm also a bit disappointed by the drone because at first I thought it was the other one germanshu showed us that rains down a series of missiles. Not that I'm complaining about a new ability being released, mind you.
Managed to get the final piece for the Scallywag Imp, so this is a good day. Not too impressed with the drone though.

A THIRD ability for the stupid cactus? When there are characters out there with only one? This would have been fine if most of the other characters already had two abilities, but that is not the case.
I really want a new legendary sunflower hat! We got a repeat hat there but it was nice to get a new ability. The red drone makes amusing sounds when it fires. I also don't really use the since I have so few but nice to get more legendary consumables too.
I'm rather enjoying this new drone. It's more of a "support character" than a main actor. Generally keep it down low, duck out of sight, get a corn strike every 10 or so second, and dump it on someone ranging alone, or zigzag and peck away at the base defenders. It's good tfor doing a thorough recon to tell your friends what's happening up ahead. And I found it to be effective in ops as well, at least as much so as the regular artichoke.

this drone is amazing, one of the best abilities that has appeared in Rux's shop, i can say this because almost every third person on the servers are using it, they made the cactus fun and easy. THANK YOU EA AND POPCAP SOMUCH
