Sasquatch Boss Tips?
I have somehow missed this Boss event in the past, so do you guys have any advice before I play the Sasquatch Boss game? A character class that is good, an area that I might need to get to quickly, t...
For the regular level of Boss Hunt you'll find that the Vampire Sunflower is pretty much unstoppable providing that you don't let yourself get mobbed; you can easily take on the Normal Sasquatch by yourself and as long as you are shooting him he'll be unable to do enough damage to overcome your self-healing ability. On higher difficulty levels you'll need more caution since the you'll take elevated damage.
The biggest thing is to remember that your character can't catch fire if you are receiving Healing from any source. This means that every team should have at least one Sunflower who can quickly hit burning teammates with a Heal Beam to extinguish them when the Sasquatch sets them on fire. If you have the Rainbow Heal Flower it's ideal for this Boss Hunt, and most Boss Hunts generally speaking, because of the constant flow of Healing Drops.
If you can keep the extra damage from being set on fire at bay you'll have a pretty easy run of things as long as you can avoid being mobbed.

I just managed to do Hard and Crazy back to back with the same team. I figure I'll share my experience in case it helps.
The team consisted of two vampire sunflowers, one rock peashooter and a standard citron. I was one of the Vampire flowers and my brother was the citron. I can't speak for the other two but I know me and my brother are maxed rank for our picks. My setting consisted of Max HP, Vampire Heal Boost and Speed boost. Not sure what my brothers were. (My bet is DMG Boost, Slow Overheat and Speed, assuming citron has all of those.) Outside the limited communication between my brother and I there was no communication among the team, more on that later.
The first phase of the boss was the same in both modes and surprisingly smooth. A few tips which I think helped us out.
Now the Boss appears. Things start getting more hectic. This next part is likely to repeat tips from other people but, I found the following helped my group out a lot.
Welcome to the part were the boss gets even. Dealing with the burgers and aftermath is easily the most stressful part of the hunt. Assuming you stayed alive to get to this point, this step is the most critical part of success.
Once the burgers are down there is one last challenge. Get to the garden and get it raised before the inferno. This was the only major time me and my brother communicated. (Other than the occasional, I'm dieing or I'm dead.) Especially with the first time this phase happens we split up and called out as soon as we found the garden, that way we could gather together. This gets much easier after each burger phase since each garden is only used once. (So there are less options to pick from.) As a flower you want to drop your pot and start healing. After that everyone's biggest priority is finding and dealing with the incoming tacklestars. As long as they don't push people out of the circle there should be no trouble raising and staying in the garden. (I am assuming all players know they need to reach the garden.)
From here it just repeats. In total there are three burger phases and four damage phases. The best part is, once you complete the third burger phase and survive the inferno, there is nothing to stop you outside a team knock out. (But, you made it that far right, stay patient and focused and there is nothing to worry about.)
Overall, like with the Gnome brothers I really like hard and crazy. (As long as I have a good team.) And that seems to be the key. Boss fights are fun and fair as long as everyone knows what they are doing. But, quite often people don't understand the mechanics or how to handle the class they are playing in a team battle. Don't get me wrong, it may be smooth as butter with the right team but it took over a dozen random groups to find those other two people. All I'm saying is savior those rare groups that can handle hard and crazy, they are a lot of fun when they happen.
