Says "is connecting to EA servers" but never does

Hello!

I have the XBox one Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. 

I just got it, and on first load it says "is connecting to the EA servers" but never does. We have waited 20 minutes.

So far I have:

- Reset my router

- Reset my XBox

- Gone into "My Games and Apps">>Plants and Zombies BfN>>Saved Data and cleared reserve space and deleted everywhere my profile

- Used an ethernet cable to connect my router directly to the Xbox one 

- Tried to see if the servers were down at EA, but there's no little popup on the PvZ page like there is with other games

- Searched a dozen or so solved tickets to see if there was any other thing I could try.

I'm stumped here, please help.

    @CalvinandMalcolm Okay this is solved: It was hung up on my selecting a security question. I logged on my PC and went to my EA account here and chose a security question, and the game loaded right up. I have two happy 8-year-olds.

    Yeah, if anyone is having this problem, hop onto the EA website on the Internet  (not on the xbox), pick out an EA username, go to your account and get a secret question, and it works itself out. For some reason both the "hey pick out a username" and "hey, give yourself a secret question" options suggested through the PvZ Xbox interface caused it to hang (take infinity to connect to the server) after we supplied an answer.

    I have a PS4 and I can t connect to my EA account,to play the game...nothing work ☹️  can you help me,please? Says is connecting to EA server,but nothing.

    Hi! I had the same issue. First, make sure that both accounts are linked. I have PS4. Once I finally could connected the accounts, I closed the application, extracted the disc and started again. I hope this will help.

    I have logged on and selected a security question and it still wont load (see picture). I have a frustrated 10 year old who cant play the game he bought himself after Christmas.

    @jessrylee Download EA App from the store (its free) then connect to the accounts. The same problem I have cleared just now. Happy gaming

    Awesome thanks so much! All this time we just needed to download the EA APP enter details and link to PlayStation!

    This should have been advised when setting up the EA account to also download the EA free app. 

    Thanks a million my nephew can play plant vs zombies now..

    I have something like that but it says I need to reset my password in ea.help and I done that 3 times and I cant get back in. I've done everything searched every page reset my xbox 

    Reseted my password

    Searched every possible answer

    Tried contacting you guys but I never go an answer

    Pls help
