@Iron_Guard8 It's clear that they haphardly slapped this game together on top of the scrapped pve game. It's even more baffling since gw2 was made in a short time as well but it stands out with much more features and content than the others. They could've easily saved time by keeping assests from 1 and 2 for a 3rd gw and they blew it.
Iceberg lettuce was teased for so long and then nothing happened with her. Shame.
I just don't really like playing npcs as characters as it feelsnlike it could've gone to a more intersting character.
The new characters were sadly a big selling point they kept pushing that they didn't deliver. I get they wanted this game to be live service with years of content but even big dev teams fail at them ala halo infinite.
The lack of game modes in bfn is astonishing. They had so many to pull from but ended up pulling existing gamemodes because they forgot how basic good game design worked in Suburbination.
Bfn is just sad all around. For new fans its just not a complete or competent game and old fans wonder why so many features were taken back and why this direction was taken in the first place.

Wow, this is a lot of content that was scrapped, or that was going to make it into the game, but did not because of the cancellation or whatnot. I really do wish that the content that was close to making it to the game, Iceberg Lettuce for instance, actually make a debut, but unfortunately this is not the case. I wonder if there were any other additional cosmetics or customisations that were scrapped as well which was not mentioned here.
The amount of content that was scrapped showed us how much potential the game had and how well the game could have turned out if the new content made it into the game. This is a great reason why another shooter would be excellent, as some of the unused and scrapped content could be used in that game, such as Iceberg Lettuce or Berry Brigade!
